About Alison Mary - Aesthetics in Norwich

Alison Mary Aesthetics (Taverham, NR8)
ABOUT
Alison Sparrow is the founder of Alison Mary Aesthetics, a private clinic in Taverham (NR8), Norwich, Norfolk, specialising in non-surgical facial rejuvenation with a strong emphasis on natural results, anatomy and evidence-based practice.
Alison is known for a meticulous, results-driven approach, and for being refreshingly honest.
If a treatment is unlikely to deliver meaningful improvement, she will tell you.
The goal is always the right plan for your face and skin, not a menu of add-ons.
Her core areas of focus include anti-wrinkle injections (Botox) with full-face movement planning, dermal and lip fillers, fractional ablative CO₂ laser resurfacing, and selected advanced treatments that support long-term skin quality.
Alison continually invests in high-level training and ongoing mentorship to stay current with best practice, safety, and technique - ensuring every client receives careful planning, clear expectations, and consistent outcomes.
EDUCATION & BACKGROUND:
Alison holds a BA (Hons) in Music (2:1) from the University of East Anglia (2001).
Her background in precision and performance translates directly into her clinical work: detailed assessment, controlled technique, and an eye for balance.

Why Choose Alison?
I run a results-driven clinic in Taverham (NR8), Norwich - and I’m very choosy about what I offer.
I don’t do trends and I don’t do nonsense. A lot of aesthetics is people selling what’s easy, quick, and profitable. I’m the opposite: I offer fewer treatments, but I do them properly - and if something won’t genuinely shift your face or your skin, I’ll tell you straight.
My clients often say I’m “too honest”… but that’s the point. I’d rather you be slightly annoyed in a consultation than disappointed after spending money on the wrong treatment.
I also can’t stand the amount of BS in this industry - and I will call it out when I see it. People get sold things they didn’t need because they trusted their practitioner, and I hate that. My clinic is built on natural-looking results, done properly, with a science-led approach and clear expectations.
I work by three rules:
-
If it doesn’t work (or the science isn’t there), I won’t do it.
-
If I wouldn’t spend my own time and money doing it on myself, I won’t do it on you. I test and use treatments on myself so I can recommend them with confidence, and prove they work.
-
If I wouldn’t do it on my own mother, I won’t do it to a client. That one speaks for itself.
Botox is my thing.
Botox is one of the most misunderstood treatments in aesthetics. It’s popular, so people assume it’s easy... but it isn’t. Done well, it’s anatomy, dosing strategy, balance, timing, and understanding how the face moves as a system. Done badly, it’s the reason so many people say “Botox didn’t work for me” or “I hated my result.”
I study it relentlessly because it’s one of those treatments where small decisions make a big difference, and where “standard dosing” often produces standard disappointment.
My approach is always about planning the whole result properly, not just ticking off three areas.
And I’ll be honest; even with years of doing this and studying it, Botox can still surprise you. Faces don’t read textbooks, muscle patterns vary, and tiny differences in anatomy can change how a result settles. That’s exactly why I’m obsessive about assessment, conservative logic, and review timing, because good Botox isn’t a template. It’s judgement.
CO₂ laser is my other core specialism.
Fractional CO₂ is not a “salon laser facial.” It’s procedure-grade skin remodelling that relies on real wound healing, collagen change, and disciplined aftercare. I take it seriously, I push it to the highest safe potential for a non-surgical setting, and I’m very clear about what it can do... and what it can’t.
----------
My style is straightforward and science-led. I’ll always give you a clear recommendation based on your anatomy, your skin and your goals - and I’ll explain the reasoning, not just the “what”.
My role is to guide you to the option that’s most likely to give you a result you’ll love, with the best longevity and the lowest risk.
So, if you want a practitioner who’ll tell you what you want to hear, I’m not for you. If you want the truth and the best plan, I am.
